Rebecca Parizo, MSW, LICSW


Rebecca is a licensed independent social worker who received her Master’s degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire and undergraduate degree from William Smith College. Rebecca has been in practice since 2009. Prior to private practice, Rebecca worked for several years in a community mental health setting, providing both individual and group therapy. Rebecca underwent extensive training to lead an intensive DBT skills-based group, where she helped many people overcome emotional dysregulation to improve overall functioning.

Rebecca is well-versed and uses a compassionate and mindful approach to treatment. Her style can be described as supportive, motivational and collaborative. Rebecca is trained in cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive processing therapy, motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy.

Rebecca works with teenagers, adults. Rebecca can assist clients in addressing a broad array of issues with specific interest in trauma/abuse, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress management, adjustment challenges, self-esteem related issues and the LGBTQ community.

Rebecca has office hours Monday through Friday.
