Carol Sobelson is a graduate of Boston College and completed her graduate studies at the Columbia University School of Social Work, where her concentration was in individual and family dynamics. She has been in clinical practice in Concord since 1985. Her interest and expertise range from family challenges and transitions to mood disorders, chronic illness, and end of life issues.
As a graduate school instructor at the University of Connecticut, she taught and supervised clinicians on brief therapy and various models of family therapy. She envisions psychotherapy as a collaborative process building on client strengths to achieving treatment goals in order to foster optimal well-being.
Carol enjoys a scope of practice ranging from adolescent to geriatric clients. Her clients appreciate her gift for listening and her thoughtful feedback.
Carol has office hours Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8AM to 5PM.
